A specialist in Infertility medicine with a rich experience of over 39 years is currently working in Fortis Memorial Research Institute, Gurugram. He entered the field of assisted reproductive technology, one of the first gynaecologists in India, back in 1991. In 1996, he became India's fourth gynaecologist to use the intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) method. In 1998, he became the first gynaecologist in India to use aided laser hatching to increase IVF conception rates. He was India's first gynaecologist to use the preimplantation genetic diagnostic method. The technique of outpatient diagnostic and surgical office hysteroscopy, which can be performed without general anaesthesia, was first introduced by him to gynaecologists in India. He is the first gynaecologist to introduce the Spindle View method in India for observing the chromosomal spindle during ICSI. He has handled numerous complex medical cases and is known for attention to detail, accurate diagnosis, and treating patients with empathy.
