Dr. Vijay Ramanan

Dr Vijay Ramanan is a well-known Clinical Haematologist currently associated with Ruby Hall Clinic, Pune. He has 27 years of experience in Clinical Haematology and has worked as an expert in different cities of India. He has worked in many reputed hospitals like Yashoda Hematology Clinic, Pune.

He is considered the God of Thalassaemia and has treated Over 3000 patients of Thalassaemia, Leukaemia, Myeloma, Aplastic Anemia, bleeding and clotting disorder patients across the world. He has done over 350 bone marrow transplants.

He has handled numerous complex medical cases and is known for attention to detail, accurate diagnosis and treating patients with empathy. The speciality interests of Dr. Vijay are Bone Marrow Transplant, Leukemia, Lymphoma, Myeloma, Aplastic Anemia, Thalassaemia and Hemophilia Management.

He is an active member of the American Society of Hematology, the International Society of Thrombosis and Hemostasis, the European Society of Blood and Bone Marrow Transplant, the Indian Society of Hematology and Blood and the Transfusion European Hematology Association.

Dr. Ramanan did his MBBS from B J Medical College, Pune in 1997. He also completed his  MD in Medicine from B J Medical College, Pune in 2001 and DM in Clinical Haematology Christian Medical College, Vellore in 2006.

He has also participated in research work, and various workshops under the Haematology department, and published many papers. Doctor Vijay has also received many awards in his field.
